i believe i have exercise induced allergies, everytime i walk into the gym i can feel my allergies kicking in, just a burning in my nose and it gets a little bit hard to breath, only within the first 30-40 mins of running or elliptical training is it so unbearable, after drinking a couple bottles of water it seems to clear it up for the most part though it's rough to keep going within the first 30 mins or so. does anyone know of anything that could help? or is there anyone with the same problems?
thanks tons!

Are you sure it's allergies? Sounds more like exercise induced asthma....
You may be allergic to something they clean the machines off with. Or maybe they have put in new carpet and your allergic to the glue? Something is setting you off. What are your symptoms. Hard to breath...etc...list them all. This may help answer some of your questions.

yeah i'm sure it isnt asthma, it isnt really that severe, though then again ive never had asthama so not sure what it's like. ive had allergies though and it feels more like allergies more than anything, just like pressure in my nose. like i said though it only lasts like within the first half hr of exercising then i feel fine.

hi--how are you exercising outside? i agree w/others that it may be something in the gym. but i have had "diagnosed" asthma while running during a stress test. raising body temperature is not the best for ms. things start to go awry. maybe try another gym and see if things are the same? good luck S
