View Full Version : Black beans and ornish diet

For the last 2 days I have eaten a lot of black beans ( ornish diet says to eat a lot of beans ) and today when I went to the bathroom my bowel movement was real dark/greyish looking lol...sorry to gross you all out..it was scary looking haha...anyway could it be the dark beans doing this? I never have eaten black beans before so this was really traumatic :(

I think it's very likely that it's the black beans doing that. Especially if it's never happened before and it just happened since you started eating black beans.

Sorry for the dumb question , I kinda assumed it was but I got scared..too much stupid stuff happening to me lately to take anything for granted.

Yep,

It's the beans...it happens to me too. I think it's the indigestible skin particles that do it.

Hmmm, I wonder what would happen with copious Kidney beans? :D
