Hi there. Can anyone tell me if it is normal to be pretty sore after having a mole removed and stitched from my neck? How long until the pain might start to subside?

What type of removal did you have? If it was an excision, it could be sore for a while, maybe a couple weeks. It is after all a deep removal of tissue. I have not had one on my neck which I think would be a pretty sensitive area.

I just had 3 moles removed from my face, no stitches involved. One came back early Basil Cell Carcinoma so I was VERY fortunate to have gotten to it in time. Anyway, I am still sore at all 3 sites. I think you can expect some soreness for at least 4-6 weeks.

Can You tell me if after you had the moles removed it looked kind of green where the mole was afyter it was removed i am wondering i had two removed today

green? I would call the dr./his nurse and ask just to be safe.

is surgery the only way for getting rid of them?
