okay, i'm a little confused as to when i can start having sex on the pill. I've read 7 days, but that sounds WAY too soon. Can anyone clear this up for me? I don't want to wind up getting pregnant. My boyfriend and i are really anxious NOT to use a condom for the first time, but i want to make sure i don't get pregnant...............:confused:

Seven days is recommended because thats how long you are fertile after ovulating, so if you happen to ovulate the day before you start the pill then you could potentially get pregnant for 7 days after that. If you are using the pill as your only form of protection, make SURE you are religious about taking it on time every single day.
