My daughter has had heel and foot pain for a few months and now since she has went back to school and started cheerleading again she is complaining about her knees, hips, elbows, neck, back, and ankles and hands as well.

Wouldn't you think that if it was just her body having to get back into shape it would have gotten better over the past 3 weeks not worse. Tonight she was even crying with it and that is unusual for her. She is the one that can take a stomach virus and not complain and my other daughter got it a week later and was just awful to be around. She gets worse with exercise and activity but it is always there.

anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

Not sure how ticks are in your area? But I would suggest getting her checked for lyme's disease. I know that joint pain is one of the biggest complaints with it. The only other thing I can think of is that maybe it's growing pains? I'm 5'10" and I shot up so quick as a kid that I had awful, awful pains in my shins, knees, and ankles.

You might want to research juvenile rheumatoid arthritis also.
Good luck. I hope she is better soon.

When My Daughter was 16, We found out that she had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and it is genetic (GrandFather has RA).
Please have your 10 year old checked. I hope and pray that no more Children gets JRA it is so horrible. My daughter has now been on Chemo for about 4 1/2 years now.. Have you had this condition checked by a specialist?
