Hi, I'm Mike and I'm a 21 year old male from North Carolina. I recently went to the Emergency Room, because the left side of my neck, face, and shoulder went numb. I thought I was having a small stroke so I took myself down there to find out what the hell was happening to me.

I'm Bipolar and have (real) ADHD and I'm prescribed to Zyprexa and Adderall. Since this happened the numbness has turned into shooting pains into my fingers, and it is even more prevalent when I take my Adderall medication. I looked behind my ear where it felt like the numbness lead to, and found a cyst about the size of a dime. It hurts when I touch it, and I have no idea what to do.

Also my neck hurts and my lower jaw aches pretty badly. These occurences have only been happening in the past 7 days.

The ER Doc said it was probably Peripheral Neuropathy, so I made an appointment with a Neurologist.

Please let me know what it might be, and if it is Neuropathy at all.

Is this disease lethal?

Thanks

You'll get to know more after you see the Neurologist and having gone thru some tests. Not much can be said until then when you have more information from the doc. Let us know what happens and God Bless. I think you are on the track by going to see the neruo.
