View Full Version : Changing the time I take my BC

When I started taking Yasmin at the start of the summer, I had no reason to be up early, so I took the pill every morning at 10am.

On Monday, though, I'm starting my fall semester in school and I have classes that start before 10. Seeing as it'll be hard to keep taking the pill at 10am, I was just wondering how it would be possible to switch the times that I take it while keeping myself still protected.

Should I gradually change it? Or, since I start my first active pill of the month tomorrow, should I just start taking it at 8am like my schedule fits?

Thanks ahead for your replies!

It's Better If You Call The Pharmacist Or You Doctor And Ask Them Before You Do, They Tell You If It's Ok.

Just start your new pack at the new time, no problem.

There is not reason to call the pharmacist or doc. Just start your new pack at 8 am. :)

(Even if you had wanted to change from 10 to 8 mid pack, that would have been fine too, since you are moving it to an earlier time, and it's only 2 hours.)

Definitely okay to do that! The only take it would be trickier is if you were wanting to change to taking it at night or something and taking it much later... but since you will be taking it earlier than usual, it's definitely okay.
