I've been studying atypical depression and/or anhedonia and came across Mirapex as an experimental treatment option. Since its primarily used to treat RLS I was wondering does anyone have any success stories in it treating your depression as a side effect?

Mirapex helps my RLS which helps me sleep. Therefore, I feel better and indirectly I guess it helps the depression and anxiety that comes with this lovely disorder. On bad nights, it is sometimes 1:30 or 2:00 before the sensations stop and I can sleep. I have to get up at 5:30 for work. With me on bad nights, it is just like there is a line - we are done bothering you now - totally unreal.

I can have evenings where I am perfectly fine - enjoy reading or watching TV. Then when I go to bed here it comes. There are other evenings I am miserable from the time I get home.

I have monitored - done diaries of what I eat, drink, do and shoes I wear. There is no pattern - totally unpredictable -
