View Full Version : HELP NEEDED: Rebound effect from clear eyes

D. Rebound

I have used different types of clear eyes daily for over 10 years now, and are suffering from heavy rebound effect after long time use of the vasoconstrictors; Oxymetazoline, Naphazoline and Tetrahydrozoline. (Tetrahydrozoline HCI do not work for my eyes anymore. I prefere Oxymetazoline as in Visine L.R.).

If I donīt use clear eyes 2-4 times a day my eyes gets extremely bloodshot and this is a HUGE problem for me!!!

If I stop using the drops it will give me big problems in my job-situation and also privately. Without clear eyes my eyes looks like the eyes of a drugaddict and I look sick and extremely tired (which Iīm NOT).

Have you been into the same situation, PLEASE give me some help/tips on how to get out of this addiction.

- Are there any eyedrops which can be used that remove redness and donīt cause rebound effect. Homeopatic/natural drops do not work on me!

- Is it possible to use some kind of cortisone drops paralell to the clear eyes and gradually decrease the cleareeyes use?

PLEASE HELP! The doctors I have talked to seems to know nothing about this problem!!!

Thank you!

Dr. Rebound
