Hi guys. I went to the Er with abdominal pain. The doc said all my bloodwork was fine - but when I asked the nurse for a copy she said my lipase levels were in the high normal range. This worries me. I've read though that the lipase test is done when fasting. Should I be really worried? My son had pancreatitis due to a virus a few months back. Thanks for any help or info or advice you might have.
