Well I finally got my second hearing date in front of a ALJ but its not the same judge who heard my last one I am so thankful for that. But it upsets me that there will be another ME there and vocational guy so its the samething all over again only different judge. I haven't really seen another dr but I do have new evidence stating I am not any better. My lawyer did say that this is a good judge this time. Has anybody been through a second hearing before. I was turned down since the last hearing and the Federal Court overturned the decision of the last ALJ thats why I get another hearing. Anybody have any idea what my chances are getting it this time? Its been 4 years since I applied for my SSD. I am so tried of waiting but I can't give up I need my SSD. I am so in debt with medical bills. I haven't been able to work, if I could I would but I can't. Hope everybody gets good news. And has a very blessed day

hi sherry,
I wanted to give you a good luck wish at your hearing. I went an caught up on your situation and I know you have your plate full with the fighting and clawing and waiting and....waiting again.
that is a nightamre!
i hope and pray I dont have to go through the really long waits!

i also wanted to ask you if you would keep us updated on your progress and hopefully we all can learn from it. also, did you have your doctor fill out an rfc form? and did you keep a daily diary/journal of your meds, symptoms, effect on daily life, and how your diease keeps you from doing ANY job?? ect..

I have heard that just these two things helps the case tremendously!!

I am having a problem doing the daily journel thingy..alot of days i dont have the energy to fool with it then I forget to write it down...just the other night I had to go to the er with chest pain...did I write it down??? no :(

anyway, I will keep my fingers crossed for you!! here's wishing you a favorable decission and a very large back payment to take care of the medical bills = less STRESS! :D

Hi Cantell:
Yes I have 2 drs filled out rfc reports and I take pain meds besides the patches. I am 55 years old, walk with a crutch, I have a rod in my leg from mid thigh down to ankle and have RSD on top of that and one leg over a inch shorter than the other one, which makes my back hurt and has messed my hip up. That makes me wonder who would ever want to hire me. At the last hearing the ME said that if I went to work they could put my leg up on telephone books unbelieveable. I will be more than happy to keep you posted. All the times I have been to the hospital I have my medical records to show. Also at my last hearing the ALJ didn't even consider my drs reports at all thats why the decision was overturned. I hope nobody has to go through what I have been through its caused me alot of Anxiety. Have a blessed day.
