I know I should be talking to my Dr about this, and I will, but I can't get in to see him for another 2 weeks. In the mean time, I have a question I didn't think of when I found out my Cholesterol was high.
I just found out two weeks ago and I was put on medication for it. It runs in my family, unfortunately.
Anyways, my question was, with high cholesterol, what is the acceptable limit to take in per day? Most things have some cholesterol, and as much as I try to have 0 per day, I'm finding that it's next to impossible.
Thanks in advance :)

The answer is so different with every person. When I reduced 100% of dietary intake of cholesterol, my cholesterol in my blood sky-rocketed.

When I did Atkins... which means eating a lot of dietary cholesterol... my numbers improved.

Personally... I'd just take my cholesterol medication and eat 'healthy' and not worry about dietary cholesterol intake... Way to much stress and worry to eat like a saint. Just eat fresh wholesome food that is not fried or swimming in gravy... or full of sugar.

Good luck.
