I had a toenail permantley removed on my big toe and I am trying to look into procedures where an artificial nail can be attached permantley again to toe. Is this possible? Has anyone heard of such a thing?

I actually had an issue come up with an ingrown toenail a couple of years ago and my two options were to have the two sides of the nail removed or the whole thing. I did some research on the net and found out that in 2005, a Dr. Robert Brodkin, from Tx, was in the beginning stages of creating a toenail implant. Try googling his name - hopefully this helps!!
