View Full Version : sexual intercourse sets off IBS (for women) and nausea?

I've been diagnosed with IBS and all my attacks are different - there are about 3 different types in all parts of my digestive system. One particular one, I think is set off my deep penetration during sexual intercourse. I feel it hit something inside me, then I have debilitating cramps, (unbelieveable) flatulence, diarrohea with mucus and nausea. This doesn't go until I fall asleep for several hours. Others are just plain old constant nausea, stomach grumbling etc.

1. Do other women ever have IBS attacks set off by sex, and are they similar to this?

2. Do any of you get just nausea during an attack?

Thanks for reading
