I've been reading some new postings! I hadn't been on in awhile and thought I'd check in! In early spring I had a problem with my liver. My enzymes were elivated and my liver was enlarged. I listed to my Dr. but also took alot of great advise from these blogs! Harry helpped me alot! It has been a little over 6 mo's. I managed to lower my liver enzymes back to normal I will be making a new appointment to get my enzymes checked again and hopefully my enlarged liver has shrunken. But even with all that I still have alot of trouble with heartburn and the worst problem is when I eat the wrong combination of foods I am doubled over in pain until whatever I ate passes thru! It sometimes is excrutiating! I break out in a cold sweat, get week like I'm going to pass out. I even sometimes I feel like I'll throw up! I take alot of different medicine like Nexium,Tagament, Hyoscyamine for irritable bowel syndrome! It seemed to be the pill that helpped the most! I also take Zetia for my cholosteral. I originally lost 12 pounds but instead of loosing more I'm struggling to keep off the 12. I plan on running the magnisium by my Dr' Bluepumpkin suggested it helpped him get off the nexium. Any comments welcome!

re:...."I'm taking Zetia for my Cholestoral".. Ask your Dr. about taking Chromium for reducing your level. He will probably do as my husband's dr. did and say "they is no clinical proof that chromium will help cholesteral".. i'm here to tell ya, my husband's level was 516 ( I'm serious) & the Dr. nearly had a cow. Gave him some meds right there in his office and then a prescription - which we did have filled. Hubby took the meds for about 10 days, until a friend told us about the Chromium, which is a "non-pharmacutecal"(sp). product. He wasn't to happy about the sx of the meds. so tried the Chromium - 200mcg/day - for the next 3 wks - to his next appt.. When tested, he was down bout 120 pts and the Dr. asked him if he was taking the prescription. When we told him no - he went thru the roof, & gave us another prescription. We never filled it, & hubby took the Chromium. This all started in July of that year and by Christmas his count was down to 198! Now I'm not saying that this will work for everybody, but I know for an absolute fact that it worked for my husband. Might want to do some research if you don't like "drugs". Just a tho't. :)
