I haven't been through this but wanted you to get a response. I'm sorry you are going through this. How scary this must be. You didn't say how old she is.

My son did have a ct scan done at a year old because of a large increase in his head growth. We didn't see a neuro, the doc just referred us to the local children's hospital for the ct, we followed up with him & he said all looks normal.

This doctor sounds horrible for not giving you more information. Maybe you could just schedule an appt and go into the office with a list of questions. He has to make time for you if you are on the schedule. Don't wait 2 months if your not comfortable with that. You need to know more. Take care, Sam

Silversteak- Please do not wait 2 months! Fluid on the brain-hydrocephalis (not sure of the spelling) is not something to just wait and see. There can be many causes, just put fluid on brain into your search engine. I cannot believe any doctor would just send you home, I mean I believe you but not that a doctor could be so negligent! Please take your baby to her regular doctor and bring the test results, then insist on being referred to a compitent pediatric neurologist. Let us know how it goes.
