Hi JB:
Well, I do think thyroid is worth looking into. From what I've researched, both fibro and thyroid can cause the nasal swelling. I aim to rule in or out and exhaust every avenue! Thanks for your input, I do appreciate!

Hi Dawn
You're welcome. Hopefully it is thyroid because that is fairly easily treated (if you find a Dr. that will treat it).
Good luck
JB

JB- is muscle pain or leg pain ever a symptom of thyroid imbalance? My other symptoms seem to be improving post-op but my leg pain is baaaacckk. I'm going to try over the next week to exercise through it and see where I get but I do want to follow up on the thyroid now that I have my main problem taken care of. I noticed on my bloodwork that there was a big change in my TSH level over a 6 month period,I'm a little curious about that.

Well it was for me. They just ached and I could hardly lift them. Plus I had plantar fasciatis and achilles tendon problems also. Everything kind of bunched up and I put it down to the myofascia thing. My back was really bad too. The myofascia massage really was a relief for that. Hits everyone differently. Had carpal tunnel also and Active Release Therapy helped that. It's all gone away now my thyroid is being looked after.
My girlfriend who is also on thyroid meds has been having problems with her legs (thighs mostly) in the last little while and she started taking garlic and cayenne, and has found her legs not hurting at all anymore. She's 50 and is on her feet all day long.
What's your TSH doing? What are the numbers?.
Tree Frog on the thyroid board really knows her stuff when it comes to the tests and numbers. Maybe run them by her.
