Well this is the week .......... I meet with my lawyer on Friday and travel to my hearing on Tuesday .. Any suggestions or imput would be greatly appreciated....MY LIFE WILL BE IN A JUDGES HAND THIS WEEK !!:(

One bit of advise I will give is to make sure your answers to the Judge are consistant with the evidence in your file. rayefaye 08-23-2007, 11:54 AM Always try to give simple answers to his questions, don't try elaborate to long on any answer. Be very polite and be sure the judge knows you have his full attention. Also don't dress up, just wear what you wear everyday and I was told not to wear any jewelry except my watch. tweiler 08-23-2007, 08:54 PM I was real nervous for my hearing and hubby went with me to the hearing so I asked if he could come with me into the hearing itself for support. ALS judge agreed so that made things much easier for me. Don't worry if your voice shakes or anything, I know mine did. Just keep answers simple and to the point. GL |
