Is crankiness just part of it or is it just me not handling things very well. Seems I have no patience any more and snap at folks no matter how hard I try not to...out of frustration, I guess. Suggestions please!!

Yep... I think so, not so much a symptom of FM but an after affect or result of FM..

Think about it, your in pain and weak and miserable all the time, it's only natural to get cranky.. I used to be so happy-go-lucky all the time, now sometimes I could just slap my own reflection...Ha Ha

Can't help it man...I used to go jogging when I was irritable or cranky in the past like from PMS or whatever, but I can't now because of my back. Maybe you could try it. It works real good...Endorphins I guess...

geez i thought i was the only one who became a bear when all this happened to me that is why i slowed down on leaving my house cause i just couldnt control my anger sometimes and it wouldnt take much to set me off, i really blew it at the grocery store one day i told the lady checker to quit talking so much and get a move on or my bread would be moldy by the time i got out of the store, plus it really embarrases my family when i do stuff lke that but they just dont relize how it angers me, or that i cannot control it, guess i need to take a double dose of my anti depressant before i leave the house to go into public haha.

Excuse me, was that intended for ME?!!! Why how dare you call me cranky!!! Just because I am not all flowers and candy doesn't mean you have to call me names!!!
(he he he)

I don't get cranky, just irritable. (Smile.)
Sincerely,
Caring

asil! Did you really tell the lady checker that :) That made my day and God knows I have days when I need something that makes me laugh! As for being cranky,I'm always the model of civility and politeness(don't let my wife see this post!) Al
