After ceasing my meds., I've been experiencing restless leg syndrome (i think) I don't know if this was a symptom that was being controlled (without my knowing) by one of my meds, or if it could be from withdrawls.
I think this is the primary reason I'm unable to sleep for less than a couple of hours at a time. I wake feeling as if my legs have lost all circulation.

Well hun, it's almost impossible to comment thoroughly when you failed to mention what meds you ceased to take...

I can tell you this, I know a nurse and a physical therapist who both have FM and they also have serious restless leg syndrome and neither of them take any thing...

My leg and like my hip jump once in a while too... Maybe we are just dealing with yet another symptom..

Yes, RLS is a symptom. So is IBS and Raynauds. I had all before I was diagnosed. This is a frustrating disease, but you can live with it if you can control it.

lisa,
I had been taking neurontin, effexor, ultram, and ambien for a little over 2 years.

I was thinking of trying quinine if this was a temporary condition of withdrawl.
