Hi - Has anyone with Fibro found a comfortable mattress that will at least let me get a couple of more hours of sleep at a time. My entire family has Fibro - we can actually trace it back in our linage for 4 generations -- amazing how nowbody believes us -- except you of course :)

I sure know what not being believed feels like!
As for mattress, I have a king sized which helps with being able to spread out and toss and turn. I also went from firm so moderately firm and am having less hip problems, the mattress conforms with my curves rather than lying more or less on top of a harder surface with no support or give.
We also put the extra money out for a better quality, I spent hours at several stores, lying on them and checking manufacture. For normal people it isn't a big deal, when you are achy and sore all over, your mattress becomes a MAJOR BIG DEAL!!!
Good luck!

Asil, I have hip problems at night also, we use King sized pillows(King bed too but I digress). I've found that they give me extra kneck support and I also double one over and sleep with it between my legs. Just a regular old pillow.

I bought a select comfort and it felt great, but it didn't help my fibro. 3 months later I bought a magnetic mattress pad and put it over the select comfort and I have slept great for over 2 years now. It helps me to get into the deep REM sleep. Didn't realize I wasnt getting the quality of sleep I needed.

Water bed (heated)with comfort pillow top matress..
Or.... adjustable air bed if you can afford them. Being able to adjust your bed to go up or down or in between is a major pain reliever...
