we know some over counter meds can give innocent positives on urine testing,,does anyone know if there is an over the counter drug that will show a metabolite that is positive for methamphetimine ??? :confused:

Oh my goodness no!!!! Wow, yeah there is absolutely no OTC drug that will even have the SLIGHTEST levels of methamphetimine. Take my word on it. True, some foods and drugs contain ingredients that may mimic another drug, if ever urine was tested (ie. poppy seeds and opium). But no, there are no OTC drugs that contain methamphetimine.

Although no OTC meds actually contain an amphetamine, I believe it might be possible for decongestants containing psuedoephedrine to give a false positive. Sudafed contains this medicine as do many cold/flu/allergy preparations.

yep,index is right.since in most cases,part of the process of actually creating meth to begin with involves alot of ephedrine based meds,it will show up in a drug test as a positive for meth.there are many different cold meds that could produce a false positive.FB
