welp i had my appointment yesterday with social sec, i worked on those stupid papers for 2 weeks, after waiting for 35 minutes i was called back to be informed as they went over the bologna printouts that they probaly got the day after i went in to apply and was told after 16 years of working, i didnt have enough points built up and that my husband made to much money, but if he got laid off or i had a total of 6 kids instead of 2 they could help me, mind you he was fixed 9 years ago, so i guess my new idea is maybe hit the sperm bank lol lol sorry i just had to throw that in there, but truely i guess i am s.o.l so guess i will just concentrate on my bod and meds. oh well dont let this bring anyone down its just my luck that i have, hope everyone is having a good day, gotta go for now.

Hey Asil: I was denied disability compensation the 1st time as well. Then I got smart and hired a disability attorney and won! The law prevents the atty from making more than 25% off the top, then the payments after that are all yours. Ya might think about it, Al

Yeah asil, what Al said!!
Thats what I am talking about. They always say no the first time, even 2-3 more times, maybe even 10, but they do give in at some point. If you can afford an attorney like Allen advised, you will get a lot farther a lot quicker... Go get em'

my friend works for a lawyer and is very familiar with s.s.i. and she told me that beings as i had worked restaurant and grocery jobs through the years i hadnt made enough money to earn enough points (i guess in okla. its 40 you have to earn)to be able to qualify to draw off of my earnings so that is why they went to go on my hubbies which his earn. is approx 36,000 a year plus 2 kids we have they said he makes to much money, so she said there is nothing i can do because we have 2 vehicles a old suburban and i men old and a 91 pickup or main vehicle, and that we are not destitute well hello what about the part they take out for taxes , our house pmt, about 450 a month, groc, elec, and water, insurance, gas, and reg. exspences so what do they think? they did say if he got laid off or we had more kids they could help me, so i guess i will start taking applications for a sperm donor because as i have said me guy was fixed long ago, geez i have to think of that as humor othrwise i will cry,so apparently i worked all that time for nothing and there is no way i can go back to work to even think about getting another god knows how many points to help myself, maybe i will consult an attorney but i truely think its a dead deal because we are not starving to death, oh fiddle de de dog is barking will wake everyone, byeeeeee
