I'm a little over one week post op and I've really had some problems. Now my doc says I might still be blurry from corneal edema and he put me on sodium chloride drops. All the other med drops are finished but these burn like fire. They also dry out your eyes! So - you dry out your cornea and then flood your eye with tears the rest of the day?? Whew! I can't figure this out. The salt drops don't seem to be helping my vision any. Anybody used them?

I used them for a month, and, yes, they did burn, and they are expensive ($20). They helped me a lot, and my vision became clearer with their use. I am not a lasik case, however. I have a corneal problem that results in corneal edema. I sought out a better drop for my problem and found it at the dry eye zone, which is a web site that caters to people with dry eye syndrome, many of whom are post-lasik patients. My favorite drop from that site is called dwelle. It is not available in stores but is on line. It's over the counter, but it can only be bought on line, because the company is so small. I've been telling people to check out the drops because they are so hard to find even though they are fantastic. They are half the price of Muro 128 5%, they don't burn, and they worked better for me.
