View Full Version : Can my Injured Ulnar and Radial nerves, of long ago, be fixed?

Can anyone assist me with this one?

As a child, some 35 years ago, I had an accident which caused severing of the ulnar nerve of my right arm (above elbow) and also damaged the radial nerve. The result was impaired hand movement, ever since.

I am wondering if anything can be done to fix it or assist it, nowadays.
I understand that it would require the functionality of the wasted muscles and the damaged nerves to be improved somehow.

Any help is much appreciated.

That is really really difficult to say. Did they reattach the nerves back then?

I would consult your doc about it. I don't know if they can regenerate after than long.

Good luck.
