I had to have a quintuple by-pass 6 month ago at age 33, my HDL was 14 LDL 96 before surgery. I am now on 10mg Lipitor, Zocor, Zeita and 2000mg Nicspan and 2000mg Omacor. Is there and dietary change that can raise my HDL? So far it is up to 23 with the current meds.

Add some good fats to your diet... I understand that helps raise HDL too. Try fresh avacado's and use extra virgin olive oil. You can also bump up your Niaspan to 3000 mg as long as you are watching your liver closely. Niacin is probably the best at increading HDL. I've been taking 3000 mg Niaspan for about 20 months now and it has done me wonders.
I'm not clear... but I think statins (zocor and lipitor) will actually lower your HDL... so maybe you might want to stop those or cut way back on them... and increase your Niaspan to 3000 mg. It's not like your LDL is that high. Focus on your HDL.
Consult your doctor and ask him about this course.
Best of luck. :)

Niacin, fatty fish like salmon or tuna, omega 3 or flaxseed oil capsules, mono unstaturated sources of oils like olive or canola, nuts such as almonds, walnuts and pistachios and small amounts of alcohol have been confirmed to raise HDL. Excercise may help also but the jury's is out on this. Take your your pick.:D I manage to do all the above, keep my weight in bounds and HDL around 65- hot damn.
