Hello all...my name is Hailey...I have a question for all that have some feedback...I have taken about 4 pregnancy tests in the last week and the very first one i took last Thursday was positive but the vertical line that made the plus was very light and you had to look close to see it(that was an ept test) the next 2 i took were negative(those were first response) then the last one i took was on tuesday(ept again) and it was negative. I just dont understand i guess and like to know what my next step should be:confused:

Perhaps it could have been an evaporation line that you were seeing. Did you read on the package or instructions about evaporation lines & if so, did it look like one! Are you already late for a period or are you still not due yet?

Your best bet would be to go & have bloods done as that is most effective! Your DR probably has the same tests as you have already used, so although he might get you to try his, i think the blood test will tell you for sure!

All the best, Crystal xoxoxox

I agree- it could have been an evaporation line...I would say just go and get the blood work done. It's a lot less expensive than buying home pregnancy tests in bulk!

Good luck.

The first response are very acurate. I had four positive First response and at the same time the same number of negative EPT test. I every had 2 Dr's tell me I wasn't pregnant (they tested me in the afternoon and not sure what brand they used). Needless to say my First Response where right and I'm 8weeks 3 days
