Hi, new here! Some background: I'm 33, DH is 34, no kids, one Labrador, been married 12 yrs. Just finished my master's degree, DH is finishing PhD.
We're not officially TTC yet, but it has been discussed...
I was wondering what some good questions to ask were when trying to find a good ob/gyn. I want to choose a women's health provider so i can get a yearly exam and a prenatal exam and advice about starting TTC, etc. Any pointers on finding a good one? Most gals I've asked around here only have info on their own docs, who are no longer accepting patients, and not much on other docs in the area.
Thanks!

I went out to my insurance provider's website and looked at the list of docotors. I chose a OBGYN in a woman's clinic near my house. I got lucky and he is wonderful. Is is upfront and honest with me. A lot of women I know are skeptical about having a male OBGYN because they can't understand a woman's problems since they aren't women. I am happy with my doc.

You can do an internet search for questions to ask. You and your husband can schedule visits with them and ask away.

Thanks for the reply! I definitely want a female doctor; fortunately there are several to choose from here, I just need to call and go check them out I guess! It would be nice to bring the DH along too! I got a new book this weekend too with suggested things to ask...:D
