View Full Version : Why can't I keep my arms still?

Whenever I am lying in bed, sitting on the couch, or just relaxing in my computer chair, I can not keep my arms still no matter what I try. I keep thinking I am going to bump my humerus. And once it leaves my mind or I just ignore it, I feel the vein in my arm pulsing and it makes me squirm.

Please tell me what I should do.

Im not sure if this is the same thing but someone at my work suffers from restless leg syndrome. He could be laying in bed or sitting down and he would not be able to stop his leg from moving. He says he gets very frustrated sometimes. Ive also heard of something called periodic limb movement disorder. Maybe try looking them up

Are they involuntary movements or are you doing it (maybe unintentially) yourself and just can't stop?
