I have a question about tea tree oil I hope someone can answer. I have been treating my fungus nails with vinegar however I decided to try putting tea tree oil on after the vinegar soaked in really well but I have done this three times and all three times my big toe would burn and be sensitive after doing this. My questions are is this a normal reaction to tea tree oil because I thought I had used it in the past and not had a problem. Also why is just my big toe burning if I put it on all toes? I can't see any open sores on the toe or any reason it should burn more than the others. There is no discoloration or bruises other than th yellow fungus discoloration that's growing off the top2/3 of the nail. When I am not using the tea tree oil it does not seem to be sensitive that I have noticed. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Tea Tree oil is VERY strong and some people have had this reaction to it. Also, it is never a good idea to use two medications at the same time because they may react with each other and not favorably. Treat with only ONE treatment until the infection has cleared. You also may want to try Dr. G's or Reclaim AF, but if you decide to do this, stop using the vinegar.
