ok im nervous cause i think my girlfriend might be pregnant but i dont know for sure she been on the nuva ring evrything was going fine about 3 months she stopped using it cause she was get allergic reactions from it 3 months after that now its augest she started in the beggining of the month using birth control pills she wasnt sure if her doc said its active once you start but we started a week after in the middle of the second week now its near the end of the month and we started to think about it wondering if she is pregnant please answer someone scared badly

Read the pamphlet that came with the bc. Sometimes it is effective the first day, sometimes you are suppose to use protection for 7 days and other bc's may be different from that even.

I took Tri-Sprintec and my doctor said it was not immediate protection, so you guys should use a condom for the first month. After that, the actual protection kicks in.
