I'm not sure where to post this. My sister is on Prozac. The other night she went to the bar with a friend after work and had a few margaritas. She then came home and had a mixed drink of her own. She ended up blacking out. She was screaming and fighting and being very crazy like. She thinks somebody maybe slipped something into one of her drinks at the bar. The only thing is that it was about 3 hours after the bar when she blacked out and started everything else. From the research I have done on the more common "date rape" drugs (rohypnol, GHB, ketamine) they seemed to take effect much faster than that. She says she has drank many times before on separate occasions while on Prozac sometimes even more than she had this time and nothing happened. I did find some things that talked about people blacking out after drinking alcohol who have been on prozac. Is it possible that it was just a random occurance that this time the alcohol didn't mix well with the Prozac or does it sound more like possibly a "date rape" drug or something totally different? Thank you for your help.

It was most likely the drinking on Prozac, which is not encouraged.

The "date rape" drug hit quicker than what you are explaining.
