Has anyone had side effects from Nexium? I have been having muscle pain for a week now and I can't figure out why! Could Nexium be the cause? I can't find anything in the literature that lists this as a side effect . Anyone else get this?

I have been on this for 7 yrs now and have not had a problem. I hear a lot of people having problems with Nexium, I never knew it was causing such issues. I guess that I'm really lucky because I usually react to everything. FLFLOWERGIRL:)

I get muscle cramps and aches. Cannot attribute those to just Nexium as I am on other prescription medications that could be responsible. I know that muscle cramps usually mean a vitamin/mineral deficiency. Nexium aggravates my nausea, making me vomit on occassion. I am thinking of discontinuing it.

I have also been on Nexium (40mg twice a day) for years. 5 I think. I have not had any side effects whatsoever either.
