I feel very anxious about a mole/freckle that has recently appeared on my right cheek below my cheekbone. It seems to be getting larger and had a lighter shade of brown surrounding it! I realize I need to have it checked but I'm SO SCARED! I do love the beach in the summer and in my teens and early 20,s was very lax about sunscreen! Now that I'm 40 I use nothing lower than a 30spf.Is this bad? I'm very scared! And feel very stupid for my carelessness in the past!

Please help!
