This is my first time ever on birth control pills. I started taking Yasmin pills on Sunday, which I thought was okay because it was the Sunday following my period. Turns out I was wrong, I was just looking through my calender and realized that I started my period on a Saturday, which means I should've started my pills the next day...What should I do? Oh my gosh, I'm freaking out. Should I just stop taking them, then wait for my period to arrive than start that same day? Please help! Or will I stil be protected within a week of taking them?

You might as well continue taking them, I don't think there would be any befefit to stopping. But I wouldn't count on them for protection this cycle, use a back-up method.
