Wife Maryann was stricken with Acute Myeloid Leukemia about 10 days ago:mad: . We are in New Mexico where there are no transplant facilities and are hoping to transfer her up to Sacramento CA where we have family and support. Does anyone have (or know of) a well qualified hematologist who has priviledges at Sutter, UC Davis, etc. that would perhaps take our case? We are Blue Cross PPO members. She is a 62 year old female in otherwise good health. We would be thankful for any suggestions. Thank You.
