I am having strange feelings of numbness in my tongue and back of my throat that just started this morning. I can breathe fine, so it's not that my airway is closing up or anything.

Does anyone else ever experience this?

Thanks for any input.

Hugs,

Lynn

Hi Lynn,
So during this past flare up, I had numbness on the right side of my throat.
That is gone, however I am left with a weird feeling in the back of my upper
throat. Essentially it feels like the back of my tongue and and upper throat are swollen or maybe a wee bit numb. Breathing hasn't been a problem, but swallowing is a wee bit difficult - ugh.....It sort of feels like someone is constantly pressing on my throat directly below my chin, and the feeling is worse when I swallow....
