I am looking for some answers from IBS sufferers. For about three weeks, my husband has had on and off abdominal pains, along with diarrhea. He went to the doctor and doctor suspected possibly kidney stone or appendic. Said he should have a CT scan of those 2 areas if it didn't improve. Well, some days are OK and some he feels poorly. Everytime I plug in his symptoms, IBS comes up. The last few days though he has had body aches and a fever. Does this sound like IBS? He is very stubborn about going to the doctor. Three weeks of this are driving me crazy! I wish he wasn't so stubborn. Has anyone with IBS had this happen with them?

I would go with the doc. Fever is not a symptom of IBS. Nor is body aches.
IBS will come up on a search for nearly any stomach complaint. But these symptoms definately set your husband's condition apart from the typical IBS patient's.
