View Full Version : Has this happened to you?

Hi,

I'm 24 and have been diagnosed for about 10 years now. Anyway, I just had my first baby--he is almost 2 months old--and he was born by emergency c-section.
I'm giving background because something scary happened to me the other day and I just don't know if it is an FMS thing or something else.
I went to get out of bed to go to the restroom at about midnight. I wasn't really asleep asleep (I have a new baby afterall!) but I had been resting. Anyway, I stood up and took a few steps with no problem, then all of a sudden my legs came out from under me and I was on the floor.
I wasn't dizzy, I wasn't trying any new medications (I take Percocet and Flexeril, SAMe, mulitvitam and B-50), and I didn't feel any pain in my legs. I didn't even feel my muscle weaken first, it was just like, one minute I was standing the next I was looking up at the ceiling. It was really scary! I'm just wondering--has anyone had this experience?
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, but I'd rather know other FMS'ers opinions!
Thanks!
