Our younger daughter went to her rhuematologist about a month ago and he added Chlorpromazine to her list of medications. After the first dose she noticed the fibro fog lift. So far the fog has stayed gone.
The Doc had hoped that the medication would help her sleep and help with the pain. It did neither but the lifing of the fog was almost miraculous. It is great to have her thinking clearly for longer periods of time and her schoolwork, when she isn't totally fatigued and her eyes work, has been progressing nicely. It is not simple schoolwork but trig and other honors courses done online or with a tutor who comes to the house.
Has anyone else used this old (and cheap) medication as a fog lifter?

My husband tried Thorazine for a short while, then the doc put him on narcotic pain meds and told him to stop. He didn't believe that it helped him but, it was a while back. He was also leary of the side effects.I have Glacoma so I can't take it.
We do take stimulants, I take Ridilin I started with 21/2 mgs 2 times per day and now 5mgs 3 times per day. This has helped my tiredness greatly and the ability for me to think clearer.
My husband is now on Adderall, he is still having major trouble staying awake. Gary does find that it helps him concintrate for a couple hours.
Well, that is the extent of our knowledge on the drug.
Good luck to your daughter on her success.
