I was just diagnosed this week with fibromyagia. Although, I have thought for a couple of months that FM was what I had after I did a lot of research on-line and came across this board. It is kind of a relief for me to finally have a diagnosis and for once a doctor not to say "nothing is wrong with you". I have been having symptoms since 2003 and quite possibily longer, so I am kind of happy to finally have a name for it and to try and get on with my life. The Dr, a rheumatologist, I went to seemed nice but I think she may not be the Dr for me. Her office seemed very busy, she is difficult to get a hold of, and she seemed slightly rushed during our visit. Does anyone have a suggestion for a new rheumy in NJ? Or Drs I should avoid? Also, are there therapies or other things available in NJ for people with FM? I am trying to find some place to take aqua therapy. Has anyone in NJ found someplace?
Thanks alot. I will take any suggestions you can give me.

Here are two doctors listed in the FMS directory:

Sanders Davis, M.D.
Morristown, NJ 07960-1978

Richard B. Menashe, D.O.
Gibson, NJ 08837

Can't vouch for either one, however.

Blessings,
Kirstee
