View Full Version : Wisdoms out, question about mouthwash

Hello,
I got all four wisdoms out on Monday, and have stitches in my gums. Its now Day 5 and the recovery is going well. I've but washing with Saline solution as the dentist advised for the past 3 days and brushing carefully twice day.
My breath is really starting to stink, can I use regular mouthwash from now on?
Also, what is the reasoning behind using Saline versus a regular mouthwash?

Thanks a bunch in advance.

hi

had three wisdom teeth out two weeks ago and still in pain a bit but i have been using salt water to wash my mouth out instead of mouth wash cause it stings. try the salt water see how it goes. i had stitches so be careful rinsing.
good luck
