I am helping my momma from a far. I am in TX and she in MS. I talk to her everyday and she is getting worse. I cry for her daily. She is still trying to take care of the house my father and everything else. She is going crazy because she can not work any more and the money is running out.

She has no job and no money to continue to going to doctors who do no want to help her. I have contacted many groups and foundations but have not gotten a response. How do you get a diagnosis and the help that you need.

What can I do to help her
I am preparing to move in with her. I have to wait for 3 months though before I can move.

Wish I could get her some pain relief some how.

Honey My heart just breaks for you and your mom. My daughter worries over me. Does your mom have access to medicaid in her state. Also, see if she can see either a rheumatologist or even better a neurologist. Those are the ones who keep up on new things and help with pain management.Until she can see a Dr. Tell her to take hot baths (moist heat works best) and take up to 800 mlgrms of Ibuprofen helps. Also heating pads and doing some stretching exercises help. It is best for her to not do anything really strenuous as that aggrevates Fibro. The main thing is trying to get the pain to a minimum so she can get good sleep!!! Please let me know if I can help in any way.
Try searching the web to see what kind of medical assistance is available in her state. She is in my prayers. KIM
