My eyes have regressed 5 years after lasik to the point of required corrective lenses. Doc says corneas are steepening again. Has anyone else experienced this supposedly rare setback?
Also, my left eye has a blurry haze and some pain but no redness. Just had a dialiated eye exam (diabetic) and pronounced 100% great. Any ideas?

I only had mine 4 months ago. My greatest issue by far has been dry eye which will cause some regression.
That said, I went from 20/10 after my 30 day appointment to somewhere around 20/30. My doc told me about 5% will regress. I paid the $$$ for lifetime enhancements so that if further enhancements were needed they would do it at no charge.
My concern with you is that you are a diabetic, which may complicate things.
Good luck and go back to your original surgeon. I would think he/she would do the surgery again at a greatly reduced price.
