Hi all,

I have had right sided abdominal/flank/lower back pain and pressure on and off for 1 1/2 years. Now I have a yellowish to orange/brown coating on my tongue constantly. I can brush part of it off, but you can still see it, and when I eat, especially in the evenings, it comes back. I've been really brushing my tongue well and it only helps temporarily. My doc didn't have any idea what it was, told me it was no big deal and basically said I was a hypochondriac. He did give me oral antifungal meds, but told me if they didn't work it would go away on it's own.

I also have a lot of gurgling down deep in my abdomen sometimes, especially in the upper right. I have no gall bladder (out in 1993), and my liver counts are all good. Sometimes my ribs are even sore.

Please respond if you've had the coated tongue. I am really stressed about this.

THANKS!!!!

There seems to be a connection between Candida and Crohn's. Have you been tested for Crohn's? The pain with crohn's is usually felt in the right abdomen......

Yes, I've been tested for Crohn's and it was negative.
