Hi guys: my problem is to find adequate pain management for my atypical facial pain, but cut down on the incredible sedation of my meds; I spend a lot of time in bed not from fatigue so much as from the exhaustion that my meds brings. I learned of a drug called Provigil and mentioned it to my Neurologist. It is used for people with Narcolepsy and other disorders that make people too sleepy. So I will be using it to see if I can get my brain back. Any of you ever hear of Provigil? I'll let you know if it works and if I can survive the medicine itself. Al

We were wondering how you were doing. Sorry to hear that the meds are wiping you out. Perhaps this new drug Provigil will bring some spark back into your life. Keep on trying, something is out there. Even if it helps a little, that's big steps for those of us in chronic pain. Good luck and let us know how it works for ya. Dawn2
