i went to go get a tattoo from my uncle and i told him 2 make sure he cleaned the needle and he saud dont worry but all he did was burned it with a lighter.i was wonderin ig he did someones tattoo before me and they were hiv positive can i still get it even if he burned the neddle.and if not did it die from hitting the air first than my skin??? i need answers and in currently pregnant.:confused:

i think you should be much more worried of other things like infection
i don't think there is a case on record of hiv transmission thru tattooing
so you don't have to worry about hiv

ok but wat if he didnt clean the needle he is unprofessional and he did someones tatoo that had hiv and turned around and did mines right after they got theres done dont that mean i wuld get hiv and pass it to my child?and how long can hiv live in blood after it hits the air?please help im just sooo worried

i highly doubt you have become the first known case.
if you are still worried go get tested and that will end the worry.
i don't know how your child gets in on this,hiv is not an easy virus to catch,
you need a good amount of exposure to get it.. causual contact won't spread it.you really shouldn't worry and if you do go gat a test
