hi
i dont know what is wrong with me....
i seem to comfort eat all the time, i have no determination to do anything, i have low self esteem and i suffer from paranoia, i just cant be bothered to meet up with friends and i'm always shy around other people.
when i try to get something done, i just get distracted and move onto something else.
any help would be greatly apprieciated

Hey there,
hmm, that's quite a list of symptoms you describe. And of course we can't diagnose you here or say if you have a mental disorder.
Just some thoughts then, that come to mind:
Some of the symptoms sound depressive. Do you think you might be depressed? (There are some online screenings for depression.)
That you are easily distracted could mean many things. Some people just are like that I guess. ;) Or it may be a symptom of ADHD, or possibly bipolar (if it comes in phases, kind of hyper/energetic phases that make you start things, and then depressive phases again when you can't follow through anymore). But it would be far-feched for me to say you suffer from any of those things. That only a specialist could tell you.

Hey twh, I agree, I would go to your doc and get referred to therapy so that this all can be sorted out. Keep us posted.
