View Full Version : Another question

Sorry, I have another question. I had one molar extracted at the end of May, followed by another molar (other side) two weeks later, and then three extracted (two on one side and one on the other - all back top teeth) a week ago. Unfortunately, one would get infected and then another, etc. - all the result of bad root canals thus causing infection. Didn't know the root canals were done badly for about five years, and then sadly everything seemed to go at once.

While I am not in the terrible pain I was in with the infections, my mouth is still pretty achy and sore. Isn't that to be expected? My oral surgeon feels that everything is healing fine which is great. But, can't I expect to feel a bit like a battle zone after all of this? Have you?

Thanks so much,

Hi glowling 4, How is my pot hole buddy? You have ever right to feel like a battle zone. Are you finding some foods that are spicey or acid base tend to make the pot holes flare alittle? I hope your infection has improved, and you are on a smooth road. I have to admitt I'm just starting to feel 100%.( I'm talking the body as a whole) Eating is still a thought process..But our bodies have been through alot, antibotics alone can due you in. But we can rise above this...I'm feeling the power... are you?

Ah plc, how good to hear from you. I am so glad to hear that you are feeling so much better. Good for you! Great news!

Not feeling the power yet. Everything still gets achy and I am afraid I have another tooth that needs attention. A front tooth is sensitive to cold and feels a little weird, so will have to have that looked at. I want to scream - NO!!! Eating is a major thought process - still can't chew and that is going to be for awhile, so I am trying to find things that taste yummy to make up for it. And, feeling like a battle zone is so right. Sometimes when I get down I wonder if this will ever end. But, most of the time I just keep on going.

Thanks for writing. It means a lot, and I am so, so glad you are doing so, so much better.
