my dad has sclc and he had 12 radiations to the brain nothing there just a preventive thing anyway he is very very confused can anyone please tell me how long the confussion lasts thank-you sam

Each individual is different,the Dr's say that the side effects last in weeks for the number of txs,12 txs =12 weeks.
Have they done a scan on your dads head to make sure he doesn't have any lesions? Also if the confusion gets worse call his Dr to have him evaluated.

thanks for the response but my dad was on oxicotton due to broken ribs and that was what was making him loopy not the radiation
